Orchard Central

This is considered to be one of the newer additions to the emporiums of Orchard Street, and visitors can traverse the vast expanse within the mall utilising six ‘super escalators’. There are also some very interesting other attractions within the mall, such as the planet’s tallest indoor climbing wall.

ION Orchard

This is one mall that will definitely awe you with its uniquely abstract and futuristic architectural design. Many consider this to be Singapore’s most glamorous mall boasting butler-style services, famous restaurants with celebrity chefs, and the hottest names in fashion.

Tangs

Despite the trendy and chic name, this is probably the oldest mall in Singapore, having been in operation since 1932. The shops within cater mostly towards Asian lifestyle products, but it is definitely an essential experience if you’re at one of the nearby 5 star hotels in Orchard Road, Singapore with many to choose from such as Grand Park Orchard.

Ngee Ann City (Takashimaya)

This is one of the most renowned emporiums along Orchard Street and has been in operation since 1993, making it one of the more seasoned veterans of the scene. The mall boasts a multitude of bookshops, restaurants, department stores and even the High Commission of New Zealand within its walls.
