Who says a date has to mean dinner and a movie? In Singapore, hopping on two wheels can be just as romantic, if not more! Cycling together not only gives you plenty of time to chat, laugh and take in the sights, but it’s also one of the most fun ways to explore the city as a couple.
Marina Bay
If you are after skyline magic, this is the ride for you. The 11-kilometre loop is extra dreamy at sunrise or sunset when the city glows gold. Begin at Marina Bay Sands, within easy reach of properties like V Hotel Lavender, pedal across the futuristic Helix Bridge and wheel past the Esplanade and iconic Merlion. Don’t forget to stop for those picture-perfect couple selfies along the way!
East Coast Park
This one’s an easy, breezy ride. East Coast Park, which is easy to reach from a Lavender MRT hotel (basically, a property situated right above this MRT station), is a hot favourite for cycling right by the sea. It does get crowded on weekends, so head out early if you can. After your ride, refuel with coconut juice or a chilled beer, and maybe grab a bite at one of the many eateries nearby before strolling hand in hand along the beach.
Sentosa Island
Sentosa may be famous for its beaches and attractions, but it’s also a surprisingly great place to cycle. Cruise past Siloso Beach, pedal between the island’s sandy stretches, and let the salty breeze do its thing. End your ride with sundowners and stunning ocean views… after all, every island adventure deserves a romantic finale on the beach!

West Coast Park
West Coast Park is a hidden gem, perfect for couples looking to avoid the crowds. The cycling routes are flat, easy and peaceful, which means they are ideal for a relaxed ride. Follow the path around the park’s playing fields and onto the seafront, where you can pause to enjoy the sights and serenades of the sea, lost in the view and “lost” (most happily) in love.
