A Unique Singaporean Neighbourhood!


In close proximity to Singapore’s Changi Airport is the modern Changi Village. A bus and a Ferry Terminal are located here; the ferry terminal located at Changi Point has small ferries for passengers who need transportation to islands such as Pulau Ubin and Pengarang. Visitors to Pengarang will have the chance to have a great time on their trip due to the city’s excellent offerings an also sample the great seafood palate. During the durian season a trip to a plantation nearby where you will have the chance to partake in a durian buffet! The Changi Point Boardwalk which is also located nearby puts you in touch with the lush surroundings, the sunsets from this point are spectacular and the 1.2km allows you access to such places as ‘sailing point walk’,’ cliff walk’, kelong walk’ and ‘sunset walk’. Some of the local delights that must be sampled are Nasi Lemak, fried Hokkien, barbequed fresh seafood and the refreshing fresh fruit juices. If you wish to brush up on the history of the area you may visit the Changi Chapel and museum which has a collection of wartime memorabilia related to the Japanese occupation of Singapore during the 2nd World War.
