Design and Construction
The polarising architectural design flourished in the mind of Moshe Safdie and he states that he took inspiration from card decks while he was designing the structure. Originally planned to open in the year of 2009, the Marina Bay Sand’s construction being highly affected by rising costs of material, officially opened for public on 23rd June 2010.
