Singapore is certainly one of the most amazing destinations throughout the world that is full of vibrant places and attractions. The Bras Basah MRT Station is one such beauty located within the Museum Planning area of the country. It is an underground mass rapid transit station that gives easy access to buses and taxies in the city. It is 35 meters in depth and has 5 levels.

This amazing station was opened to the public not long ago which was on the 17th of April 2010. If you are travelling to the country you will find this station very helpful when touring around the city. It is located in the vicinity of the Singapore Art Museum, Waterloo Street and the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts as well as few other cultural destinations. Further it is connected to the Singapore Management University and Plaza which will make your exploring a lot easier.
Bras Basah MRT Station was the outcome of Marina Line Architectural Design Competition organised by the Land Transport Authority and Singapore Institute of Architects. The designers of this incredible station were awarded with the best transport building in 2009.
This station is also famous for having the most impressive escalator which is 41.3 meters. The lighting system is also very unique and exquisite as a reflective pool of water with glass sections was created near the Singapore Management University only to light up the station.
